Florida Supercon’s second panel program exclusively for lawyers will focus on a wide range of the legal issues involved in creating, licensing, and managing the creative works involved in comic books, video games, films, and merchandise, including the following:


  • Intellectual property issues for comics, publishing, games, and film
  • Licensing from idea to franchise
  • Merchandising
  • User licenses, game currencies, and new legal issues in games
  • Publicity Rights in creative and commercial properties
  • Case law updates
  • Fan fiction and fan guidelines
  • Q&A

Attendees will receive four (4) all-day event passes with each CLE purchase, allowing attendees to bring the whole family or other friends. Each CLE attendee also receives a copy of Jon Garon’s most recent book “Pop Culture Business Handbook for Cons and Festivals (also available on Amazon.)
