NSU Law will be hosting a seminar sponsored by AGED, Inc. and The Foundation for Indigent Guardianship, Inc. The topic, “Navigating Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid,” is an in-depth training designed to cover the basics of Social Security Disability, Medicare, and Medicaid and its various programs for the aging / disabled population. This training is designed to help attendees understand the difference between the various government benefit programs, who can access these benefits, how to understand when benefits are needed, and how to obtain benefits when someone is over the financial limits. Attendees will also learn about Pooled Special Needs Trusts and ABLE accounts and how they work with these types of benefits.
