Adjunct Professor Schneider is currently the Assistant in Charge of the Juvenile Unit in the Broward County State Attorney's Office. Her duties include directing all activities of the Juvenile Division of the State Attorney's Office, reviewing and processing over 13,000 cases a year, and supervision of attorneys and support staff. She also participates in numerous community groups which are dedicated to providing and/ or improving services to the community's youth.
Previously, Adjunct Professor Schneider was assigned to the Career Criminal Unit, Organized Crime / Gang Unit, Sex Crimes Division, and Felony Trial Unit. Prior to that, Adjunct Professor Schneider was an Assistant Public Defender with the Broward County Public Defender's Office.
Adjunct Professor Schneider has been and continues to be involved in numerous community activities and she brings a wealth of teaching and lecturing experience to NSU.
