Damary Stokes has been a licensed attorney in Florida since 2008, experienced in family law and insurance defense. She is a full-time Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator and Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator at Matrix Mediation. Prior to working as a mediator, Damary had the privilege of being appointed as a General Magistrate for the Palm Beach County Circuit Court presiding over thousands of cases pending in family court dealing with post judgment family law matters, Baker Act and Marchman Act cases. While in private practice, Damary had the opportunity to present oral arguments in front of the Third District Court of Appeals. One of the cases created new law regarding reservation of attorney fees. Damary is very active in her community serving as a Judicial Advisor for the Sheree Davis Cunningham, Black Women Lawyers Association and an Executive Committee member for the Alternative Dispute Resolution section of the Florida Bar.
