The Honorable Alan Apte was elected in August as Secretary of the Florida Conference of Circuit Judges. Gary Brown has rejoined the Fort Lauderdale office of Kelley Kronenberg as a Partner and Head of the firm’s construction practice. Brown is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Construction Law and focuses his practice on complex commercial and general business litigation. 1989
Alexander Clark (Ralph Alexander Clark) has passed away. A memorial was held on October 13, 2018. Alex taught as an adjunct professor at NSU Law for many years. The memorial service was attended by many of his classmates, professors, and the students he had taught.

Cristy Lyn Caserta, age 38, of Fort Lauderdale, passed away on October 4, 2018. Cristy practiced law for the last 12 years as a partner at Salpeter and Gitkin, LLP and most recently as corporate counsel at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. Cristy lived life to its fullest.
