Florida Supercon’s first panel program exclusively for lawyers will focus on a wide range of the legal issues involved in creating, licensing, and managing the creative works involved in comic books, video games, films, and merchandise, including the following:
- Intellectual property issues for comics, publishing, games, and film
- Licensing from idea to franchise
- Merchandising
- User licenses, game currencies, and new legal issues in games
- Publicity Rights in creative and commercial properties
- Case law updates
- Fan fiction and fan guidelines
- Q&A
