About the Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies (JILCS)*
The Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies is an academic legal publication sponsored by the International Law Students' Association of Washington, D.C., United States, and housed at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in Florida, United States. The Journal has a worldwide circulation, with scholarly work affecting the global community.

JILCS is published three times each year:
The first issue is a compilation of notes, comments and essays regarding emerging topics in international law.
The second issue features articles from legal scholars and practitioners who participated in the annual International Law Weekend conference in New York City, New York.
The third issue is published in both English and Spanish. It features scholarly articles with a regional focus on Latin America and South America.
The Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies dedicates a portion of each issue to showcasing student research in international law. The Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies gladly considers notes, comments, and essays written by law students.
Opinions appearing in the Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies are those of the individual contributors and not the views of the Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies, its Editors, Nova Southeastern University or the Shepard Broad College of Law, or the International Law Students Association.
