Dr. Bahaudin G. Mujtaba is a Professor of Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, and International Management. Bahaudin has served as a faculty member, director, and/or department chair at the Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at NSU since 1996.

Bahaudin was given the prestigious annual “Faculty of the Year Award” for the 2011 and 2005 Academic Years at Nova Southeastern University’s Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Each year, one faculty is honored with this award for their contributions to the university, contributions to his or her field of teaching specialty, and for scholarship in the areas of management, entrepreneurship and leadership.

Bahaudin is the founder and president of the International Leadership Education and Associate Development Academy (ILEAD Academy, LLC), which is a consulting and publishing organization that serves clients with their training and book publication needs.

In the years 2003-2005, Bahaudin was the Director of Institutional Relations, Planning, and Accreditation for the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. As a director, he was responsible for the planning of accreditation reviews for all Huizenga School’s academic programs in all locations throughout United States of America and abroad.

In administrator and faculty capacities in academia, Bahaudin has prepared for and worked with the requirements of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), AACSB International, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, North Central Association (NCA) / Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ).

Bahaudin was appointed as the Director of Business Department for Undergraduate Studies at the Farquhar Center of NSU in the year 2002. As an Academic Director, he was responsible for the operation of Undergraduate Business Programs.

Bahaudin has been a speaker in many national and international conferences and gatherings, including ‘The Caribbean Area Network for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education” (CANQATE) in Jamaica; IACBE (United States); the Association for Tertiary Institutions in the Bahamas (ATIB) in the Nassau, Bahamas; and the Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE), Society of Afghan Architects and Engineers, and Kabul University in Kabul, Afghanistan. In his capacity as a consultant and trainer,

Bahaudin has worked with various firms in the areas of management, cross-cultural communication, customer value/service, and diversity training. Bahaudin is a certified trainer on many topics, including as a Cultural Diversity trainer through the National Multi-Cultural Institute (NMCI) which is based out of Washington DC. He has been involved in diversity education and awareness since the late 1980s. Bahaudin worked as a manager, an Internal Consultant, Trainer, and Teacher at the Education and Training Development Department of Human Resources with Publix Super Markets Inc. for sixteen years. He worked with Publix in retail management for ten years. Academically,

Bahaudin’s undergraduate and M.B.A. degrees are in Business Administration with Management as a major and Information Systems as a minor. His doctorate degree is in Management and he completed his dissertation research on the topic of business ethics in management. He has two post-doctorate specialties; one in Human Resource Management and another in International Management.

His current research and writing interests are in the areas of customer value/service, international management, and higher education. He has been listed in the various publications of Who's Who in America, Who’s Who in American Education, Who's Who in Management, and Who's Who in the World. He has written, presented and published over one hundred articles (in the areas of business, change, culture, ethics, diversity, leadership, privatization, etc.) in academic conferences, textbooks and journals. Bahaudin has authored and co-authored sixteen different books.

Bahaudin was born in Khoshie of Logar and raised in Kabul of Afghanistan. Bahaudin has been a visitor or speaker at conferences in the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Brazil, Jamaica, Bahamas, St. Lucia, Grenada, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Morocco, and other Caribbean countries. Bahaudin has served as a reviewer and editor for several academic journals and conferences.
