Nova Law Review is proud to host the 2025 Symposium: Navigating Modern Healthcare: Legal Challenges and Innovations. This event celebrates Nova Law Review’s longstanding commitment to advancing legal education and fostering critical discourse on emerging legal and policy issues. The Symposium will be a multidisciplinary event that centers on the intersections of health law, technology, and policy, and the current challenges professionals face when navigating these areas. Health law is often challenged by two competing realities: its heavily regulated nature and the rapid advancement of technology. These realities force scholars and practitioners to continuously grapple between the delicate balance of evolving societal needs, technological advancements, and shifting perspectives.
The 2025 Nova Law Review Symposium provides a dynamic forum for scholars, practitioners, and thought leaders to engage in critical discussions on the most pressing issues facing modern healthcare law. This year’s panels will explore key challenges such as improper billing practices and consumer protection, the role of technology in streamlining insurance reimbursement, the evolving regulatory landscape of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and the legal and ethical considerations of AI-driven telehealth.
Panel discussions will address complex issues such as healthcare compliance, strategies for reducing reimbursement delays through technological innovation, and the impact of regulatory gaps. Additionally, experts will examine the ethical concerns surrounding AI decision-making in telehealth and the corresponding policy challenges.
By bringing together leading voices in law, medicine, and policy, the 2025 Symposium aims to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration, equipping attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of health law. We look forward to thought-provoking discussions that will shape the future of healthcare regulation and innovation.
The program will feature eleven highly recognized industry leaders to address these important topics. There will be time for audience Q&A after the panel discussions.
